Who wants to learn to take better photos of their calls?
« on: January 01, 2012, 07:18:44 PM »

If we have enough interest, I can lead some lessons on taking better photos and learning a bit more about the settings on your digital camera.  You don't need a super fancy camera for this.  It will be easy, I promise.  There won't be any tests, but all that ask is that you post of some of the pics you take as we cover the different topics.  We will go slow through the material, and cover about one topic a week.  It will be very generic lessons that will be easy to understand.  I'm not an expert in this stuff, but know a little about the basics that I can share.

Post up here if you are interested.

I'm in for sure BigB.  Great idea!

My mom was a photographer and taught me a lot in my youth, most of which I have forgotten since the advent of cameras with automatic settings.  I've got a good DSLR but really don't use it anywhere near its capabilities, so this will help me immensely!

Looks like we have plenty of people interested in this!  Al is going to set up a new forum category for the lessons. And we will get things rolling shortly.

This is going to be fun!
