Any reports or pictures of the turned Micarta dowels ? I have not used mine yet  but would love to see how some of the others turned out ? ---- Bart

A little info on how i make calls from these blanks. I start by drilling the blank, then turning them on center and sanding them through 600 grit, then i soak them in teak oil for a 1/2 hour let them dry, and reapeat the soaking until they wont take anymore, this keeps any other moisture from getting in. I finish the calls with a wax finish after the teak oil has dried, I am not an expert i am just telling you what has worked for me, i am continuously improving these blanks, and i am in the process of getting more equipment that should allow me to get more saturation with the resin. Feel free to ask questions.
